Exodus 9:15-17

New American Standard Bible

¹⁵ For had I now put out My hand and struck you and your people with plague, you would then have been eliminated from the earth. ¹⁶ But indeed, ^(A)for this reason I have allowed you to ^[a]remain, in order to show you My power and in order to proclaim My name throughout the earth. ¹⁷ Still you exalt yourself against My people ^[b]by not letting them go.
